About

I'm Lole García Ruiz

I look at the behaviour patterns that repeat and support change by adapting each process to the person — with no single formula.

Lole García Ruiz

Over time I've brought in different tools and learnings, without tying myself to a single school. My work takes an integrative approach: I don't apply a fixed formula, I adapt the process to each person and to the change they want to make.

My work focuses on

  • Identifying behaviour patterns.
  • Understanding what triggers and sustains those patterns.
  • Emotional regulation.
  • The identity and beliefs we make decisions from.
  • Building new responses.
  • Turning understanding into concrete actions.
  • Building sustainable change.
I work from an integrative approach centred on behaviour patterns, emotional regulation and identity — no diagnoses, no promises of a cure and no guaranteed outcomes. The value is in the observing, the understanding and applying it afterwards.

What I mean by a pattern

I work with people who recognise that something repeats in their life but can't manage to change it. Sometimes the people and the circumstances change, but the reaction, the conflict or the way it ends up feeling is similar again.

Understanding where a pattern comes from can matter, but knowing it doesn't always stop it from coming back.

Where these patterns can show up

These are common examples of areas where a person might notice responses that repeat — not diagnoses.

  • Romantic relationships.
  • Family relationships.
  • Friendships and personal bonds.
  • Work and professional relationships.
  • Leadership, communication and how teams work.
  • Boundaries and difficulty saying no.
  • Need for approval.
  • Fear of conflict or rejection.
  • Choices and decision-making.
  • Projects that get started and abandoned.
  • Perfectionism, self-demand and procrastination.
  • Relationship with food and the body.
  • Emotional eating.
  • Relationship with money.
  • Difficulty charging, saving, getting organised or feeling deserving.
  • Rest and self-care.
  • A tendency to look after others before yourself.
  • Identity and stages of life change.

How I work

My work doesn't end when we identify what's happening. We look at what triggers and sustains that response, how it plays out in everyday life and what alternatives can start to be practised.

  1. Recognise how it shows up.
  2. Understand what triggers and sustains it.
  3. Look at what function it has served.
  4. Identify the related emotions, beliefs and responses.
  5. Explore a different response.
  6. Turn it into actions that apply to your life.
  7. Learn to sustain the change.

This isn't about becoming a different person or changing your whole life overnight. It's about recognising when the pattern is deciding and starting to respond from a more conscious place.
